In September on the lithuanian lake Galuonay took place the Open Lithuanian Spearfishing Championship-2009. The championship can be nouned international, because aprox. 75 sportsmen from Lithuania, Russia, Latvia, Belarus and Poland participated in it. 
The organizators of the championship — «Vienu ikvepimu» — did their best: the organization was wonderful, there was delisious food for guests and participants, tennis, sauna and children space for little guests of the championship.
Despite the Galuonay lake looks small it is full of great trophies: the most incredible trophies of the championship were a carp of 13 kilos and a pike (7 kg)!
«Batiskaf» shops chain was one of the main sponsors of the championship and presented nice gifts to the winners.
