26 августа завершился первый Кубок Мира по спортивному дайвингу в Санкт-Петербурге. На дистанции 100 метров: второе место и серебряную медаль завоевал российско-хорватский дуэт Александр Формин (Батискаф) и Marko Roncevik.

One of the founders of the "Batiskaf" chain - Andrey Makarevich - plunged in deep-sea vehicle "Mir-2" to the bottom of Lake Baikal. Andrey Makarevich plunged to a depth of 1 400 meters to explore the cape range and find artifacts. It is interesting that on 1st of August at the same lake, and at the same batyscaphe dive took place the plunging of Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin. The goal of the expidition - a study of hydrothermal and mud volcanoes.

On the 12-14th ofJune, a grand event in the lives of divers, spearfishers and underwater photographs - Beuchat Fest 2009 - took place! The event on the lake Beloe gathered a huge number of participants from Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and even France.We are really proud of the top manager of Beuchat company Christophe Margnat who bravely arrived from the sunny Marseille in order to communicate with Beuchat fans personally. Mr. Margnat with participants By the way Mr. Margnat was impressed with the huge amount (several hundreds!) of the event's participants and the top-manager of french manufacturer said that there is no any similar event for underwater sportsmen in France!
